They require toys that challenge their intellect, such as foraging and puzzle toys. Baby Congo African grey parrots are also sensitive to stress and commotion, so it's best to place their cage in a corner against a wall.   Breeding Baby Congo African grey parrot takes time, even for bonded pairs. It may take a few years for them to produce their first eggs. To encourage breeding, provide them with a superior diet to ensure they produce robust chicks from large clutches. A poor diet can result in fewer eggs and sickly young birds.   Baby Congo African grey parrots are prone to vitamin A/beta-carotene and vitamin D deficiencies. To prevent these deficiencies, feed them with vegetables high in beta-carotene, such as cooked sweet potato and fresh kale. A balanced pelleted diet can also help prevent vitamin and mineral deficiencies. If your grey consumes a pelleted diet, they do not need vitamin supplements.
